I love the size and it makes perfect cookies but it is not very tough. My slide bent then popped out after just a few uses. The cookie dough was cold when I bent it and it popped out when I tried to use it on ice cream but is that not what it is for? It still works alright but I'd rather not pay 12.00 for an item that gets damaged so easily.

I am very portion cautious when it comes to my food. It was difficult to measure out 1 tablespoon portions of sour cream, peanut butter or butter without most of the product left in the tablespoon. With this scoop being exactly one tablespoon it is now easy to get a quick scoop of peanut butter and it cleanly come out in a perfect portion. I highly recommend this for diet minded people who are trying to accurately measure their foods...this works best for the stickier foods that are often a pain to measure conventionally.
