As far as the flash drive is concerned, the unit has been good. It doesn't see extensive use, but it has never failed when asked to perform. Five stars.
The same cannot be said for the protective sleeve. A form factor that includes built-in protection is a good idea (I have lost many covers for other thumb drives), but the execution in this case is wanting. I have found that the sleeve will sometimes open when it isn't supposed to (like, when it is in my backpack). On the other hand, I have occasionally struggled to get it open when I want to use the drive! Two stars.
Overall, the sleeve is not a hindrance to the product as a whole, and I would still recommend this product to anyone. However, it does prevent me from giving it a five star rating.

Will not buy Kingston again! I have a 16 gb traveler that is now useless; used it as a storage device for pictures, removed the pictures 1 time and used to transfer some music and since then have not been able to store anything on this device. My Sony and Sandisk have not given me any problems but the Kingston is shot-big waste of money and loss of storage for my data!
